Great online service

Bought one of these hats in Melbourne. Husband really liked the fit and feel of the Avenel bush hat. Great all round hat for golf and around the yard. Size 2xl was hard to find so we shopped on line and found a coiuple more at Stewart’s Menswear. Fast and efficient online service. Would recommend.

replacement hat

I purchased this item because the one I bought about 10 or more years ago finally wore out (could be repairable) I bought the Avenel brand because the last one was so good, and made in Australia! This one made in China is not remotely comparable, it has no firmness in the brim and just feels light and cheap. Not happy.

We appreciate you sharing your experience with us. We're sorry to hear that the Avenel hat you purchased did not meet your expectations.
Your feedback is valuable to us, and we understand your disappointment with the difference in quality compared to your previous hat. We strive to offer products that meet our customers' expectations, and we apologise that this was not the case for you.
So far as I am aware, Avenel hats have not manufactured hats in Australia for over 15 years. They do have range of leather outdoor hats which they have begun to make in Australia for this current season.
I wonder if your older hat was a different style. Avenel do offer a multitude of options, some of which have sturdier brims and construction than others. Whilst we do stock some of these styles, we don’t offer them online as they are difficult to post.
