Harlow Lane: 7 pieces, many ways to wear them

Meet Harlow Lane

You've been coming to Stewart's Menswear for years to dress the men in your life, now there's something worth browsing for yourself too.

Harlow Lane is the newest addition to the ladies' side of Stewart's Menswear, a small selection of linen and mesh pieces selected for real life here in the Northern Rivers. Seven garments in total, chosen deliberately so they work together rather than sit alone in the wardrobe.

Why We Chose Linen

Good linen earns its place in a wardrobe, especially in this climate. It breathes when the humidity climbs, it softens with every wash rather than wearing out, and it has a natural drape that synthetic fabrics never quite manage.

Every Harlow Lane piece is made in Italy from 100% linen (aside from the mesh detailing on a couple of pieces). Linen this good moves with you on a warm Mullumbimby afternoon and still works the following winter, worn under a jacket instead of alone.

It's also simply better value over time. A well-made linen piece outlasts a handful of cheaper, synthetic ones, which matters as much to your wallet as it does to what ends up in landfill.

The Seven Pieces

Seven Pieces, More Outfits Than You'd Think

The real trick with a small, well-chosen selection like this one is that it's not seven separate items, they can mix and match with each other.

The Linen Edit: the Linen Pants in Taupe with the Fashion Top in Khaki, a soft, tonal look that's as comfortable as it is put together.

The Denim Edit: the Denim Wide Leg Pant with the Mesh and Linen Top in Chocolate, casual and easy, the kind of outfit you can wear without thinking twice about it.

The Layer: the white Mesh/Linen Drape Top does the real work here. Thrown over either floral dress, it changes the whole feel of the outfit. Worn over the jeans and mesh top, it becomes the piece that pulls the outfit together in seconds.

Both floral dresses stand on their own too, easy to wear solo on a warm day, or layered under the drape top when the weather turns cooler.
